Q Town is a new inclusive queer and trans dedicated, interactive chill space at the Victoria Pride Festival. Q Town, the new cultural conservation area, has embraced the Queerposium philosophy of creating inclusive, interactive, ‘play while learning’ activities that encourage cross-community engagement. We’ve planned a community picnic and a handful of queer and trans specific workshops and activities throughout the day (July 10th). There’ll be a few rounds of speed friending, short (20 mins) workshops like: Before the UHaul, The Reluctant Activist and Immigration for Queers, FABULOUS door prizes and a Cuddle Tent.
